The owners were amazing, helped us pick out which vineyards we wanted to go to. Extremely knowledgable. They then offered to drive us to the 5 we picked! All in one day. Busy day to say the least but wouldn't have done it any other way. They gave us amazing dinner suggestions as well as a shuttle back to Capetown after our wine tasting. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Great location, very comfortable and cosy rooms, very friendly staff and owners, delicious breakfast, great recommendations what to see, excellent support with booking tours, renting a car etc., free WiFi all over the place

The rooms are clean. The service is very good. The location is near to wineyards. Stellenbosch is located 10 min away. Hardy and Steffi, the German owners are very nice and always helpful. They have a big pool outside.

Orange-Ville Cottages were lovely and the African Animal themed rooms were bright, cheerful and fun to stay in. The grounds are lovely and our hosts were very helpful in recommendation for wine tours and hikes. Breakfast on the main house veranda was perfect! Highly recommend a stay here while in Stellenbosch!

Where should I start?
I was able to find Orange-ville property while doing research for a nearby option close to the 'MolenVliet Oosthuizen Family Vineyards' as I was scheduled to attend a wedding there third week of December. Traveling all the way from Dubai I also requested 'airport' pick up which was the best option to reach from Cape Town airport and fairly priced. I arrived South Africa a bit ill and the owners (German family) were nothing else but attentive and warm towards me, thanks to them I was able to visit a doctor near the vicinity who was spot on and finally gave me the right course of medicine to get better after being previously treated in Dubai for 2 weeks with no avail.
The family kept checking on my wellbeing and Peter gave me his strong 'warm-lemon water' which works miracles with my immune system. I am eternally grateful and will certainly return to Stellenbosch and stay at Orange-Ville!
Rooms are great, clean and the property offers amazing greenery + nature all around. You can rest and disconnect with only a short Uber drive from downtown Stellenbosch.

Breakfast included is very healthy and yummy ;)

We spent 4 nights in this well cared guesthouse with a beatiful garden, two pools and a very tasty breakfast. The real luxury of these premises are the care and attention you recieve from the two owners Steffie and Hardy and their staff. No matter what you need, they look after you and give you great assistance wherever you need it. certainly not our only visit there!

Everthing was outstanding! Perfect Location! Very friendly host! State of the Art technical Features in the guesthouses! Good breakfast! Two Pools and a very large garden to relax! Safe place with two gates!

We recently went to a wedding at one of the expensive venues in the Heslhoogte area Fortunately we found this wonderful, quiet campsite where we could relax after the reception. Grassy field to pitch the tent, clean stylish ablutions. We stayed an extra night. Nice to chat to the interesting Overlanders who were staying there.

Have now been 4 times here and can’t wait to be back. This is a place where I feel „home“, not a business pseudo high-class hotel. It has a huge and wonderful garden with a pool (actually two pools). Room is beautiful, comfy, roomy - it feels good. Breakfast is very rich an very nicely displayed, made with a lot of love. You can also order any kind of eggs. The family who runs the guesthouse is very lovable and helpful (not the „receptionist style“ - but real nice people). It is quiet here and Stellenbosch is close - and the drive over the „Hells Hoogte“ offers stunning views. Don‘t miss this place.

We had a great time with Hardy and his family! it is a lovely place to stay when visiting the winelands or just for relaxation. We had good contact with Hardy and he arranged a great room for the whole family!
It was even possible to arrange a free late checkout. We can recommend it to everyone!
